Description

From the junction with the Alex Creek Trail, this trail climbs up the hill to cross route 105. After crossing the highway (carefully) the trail drops back down into the Alex Creek valley. The trail then follows the stream down through a mainly cedar stand. There are a couple of small bridges as the trail crosses the stream several times. Eventually the trail spreads out into the wider valley below as it meets the Murch Field Trail.

Direction

For directions to the park go to the Mactaquac Provincial Park page.

From the main gates, continue on route 105 towards Nackawic. After a short distance the road will enter a stretch of woods. After a set of guardrails you will see trail signs on either side of the road. There is a bit of a wider shoulder on the right side of the road for parking. It is probably safer to park at the office or the marina, and access this trail from the Alex Creek Trail or the Murch Field Trail.
