Mactauquac Provincial Park is located just across from the Mactaquac Hydro-Electric Dam. The park provides opportunities for many different outdoor activities including swimming at the beach, golfing, camping, Tree-Go, and a marina. There are also long, narrow trail system running through the the park showing the different habitats within the park. The trail system roughly follows a stream that originates in beaver dams and eventually flows into the Saint John River near the Marina. The beauty of the area and the proximity to the City of Fredericton make this a great park to explore.
