Directions

Take Highway 105 along the Saint John River between Bath and Plaster Rock. Turn onto Route 565 either in Bath or Haut-Kent. At a sharp turn next to Moose Mountain Lake turn onto Moose Mountain Road. After 2 km turn left onto Maybee Road. After 400 m you will come to a farm. Park across from the farm and continue on the old road by foot.

Description

Moose Mountain got its name because supposedly it looks like a sleeping Moose from the air. The trail follows an old road that turns into an ATV trail to the peak. It passes a maple sugar camp on the way up the mountain. The peak provides views in all directions.
