Description
The Tall Grass Trail is a relatively flat trail that travels along the contour of a hill. In some sections it looks like it follows an old road. On a clear day you might get glimpses of the city or the highway below. The trail travels through a fairly open, mixed forest. The trail gets its name from the small field at the southern end of the trail.

You can access the Tall Grass Trail from several places on the Trans Canada Trail, near where it crosses the powerlines. You can also access the trail from the north end of the MacKay Skyway Trail.
