Drive through town on Water Street and continue around the point, passing the campground. Not far past where the street leaves the shoreline you will find a small parking area. Next to this parking area the Van Horne Trail crosses the road. Park here and turn right onto the Van Horne Trail. After walking for 150 meters you will find the entrance to the trail on the right.
The trail goes through a small coastal spruce forest before it comes to the shore and splits. Turning right will take you through the woods along the shore. Turning left will take you out onto the shore to the end of Pagan Point.
