Description

The Long Pond Trail is a short trail with several spurs that access blinds overlooking a sewage lagoon and Long Pond. Long Pond is a large pond that is separated from the ocean by the grassy dunes and beach. This close proximity to the ocean means it is usually full of ducks and other seabirds such as seagulls. The blinds have many small wooden windows that open up to provide views of the pond without disturbing the birds.
