Description

The trail follows along an old road that is now a well-used ATV trail. It follows a hill on the left. There are a few long hills but not too high. Just before you get to the falls you will cross a stream that is crossing the road. This is the stream that comes from Tracy Falls.

Just past the stream you will see a sign pointing towards Tracy Falls on the left. From here it's a short distance up into the stream valley to the falls. We visited in the winter so could walk on the ice around the stream and falls. You may want to bring wading sandals if you visit in the summer. The stream valley narrows in to about 3 metres (10 feet) across just before coming to the cliff face that has the falls.

Walking up to the frozen Tracy Falls

The falls are 12 metres (40 feet) high and tumble through a groove in the top of the rock face. A large crack cuts across the rock face at an angle under the falls. There is also a small cave in the cliff face across from the falls that is fun to explore.
