Old Roads form the backbone of the park. They cross through all sections of the park and provide access to the other trails. They also provide access to some of the more pronounced features in the park such as hidden valleys, streams flowing out from under a wall of gypsum, and old mine sites.

The Old Roads form the backbone of the park and cross it in several places. They can be accessed from multiple places on the ATV Trails that are used to access the park (see map).
