The easiest way to access the Heartrate Hill Trail is from the parking area on Sandy Point Road between the golf course and the Cherry Brook Zoo. Walk on the Main Carriage Road Trail for 800 meters and you will find the trail on your left. It is the next trail on the left past the Owens Lake Trail. You can access the other end of the Heartrate Hill trail from the Owen Lake Trail.
The Heartrate Hill Trails is a short, steep climb up and over a ridge that is covered in large spruce trees. A great way to get your heartrate up if you are exploring the park for exercise.
