Atlas Park is built around Atlas Lake, a man-made lake that used to be a deep quarry mine. Once the site was abandonned it quickly filled with water forming this small deep lake. The Hummingbird Trail is the main trail around the lake. There areseveral trails through the surrounding forest. There is also a small trail that goes through a Botanical Garden near the interpretive Centre.
